Welcome to the ADHD Clinic at UNCG

Welcome to the ADHD Clinic webpage!

The ADHD Clinic was established in 1996 by Dr. Arthur D. Anastopoulos, who has continuously served as its Director since that time.  The ADHD Clinic is a specialty service within the Department of Human Development and Family Studies in the School of Health and Human Sciences at UNCG.

The mission of the ADHD Clinic is to:

  • Provide state-of-the-art mental health care services and education to the local community, Triad region, and the state
  • Increase understanding of ADHD through clinical research
  • Give clinical practice training to graduate students and to other health care professionals

All three mission objectives are woven together to form a cohesive whole. Thus, knowledge gained from research informs clinical practice, clinical practice enables clinical research, and clinical practice and research enhance clinical training.
